Welcoming February And HGTV's Color Of The Month

HGTV has announced on February 5, 2014 their chosen color of the month...

"Punxsutawney Phil" saw his shadow this past weekend, so according to the groundhog six more weeks of winter must be endured! After a long bitter cold winter, most of us are beginning to crave the warm temperatures and fun pastel colors. This month's color is inspired by offering a taste of Spring. The color of this month is ---

Pink Grapefrui

Loving how the color bridges the gap between winter and spring. A winter fruit that also shares a soft, fresh and springy color.

Wow your room by painting an accent wall pink grapefruit and repeat the color in your throw pillows and art work.

The chilly winter temps are still here, but that doesn't mean you can't bust out this fun-loving spring color in your winter wardrobe. Sure to put some pep in your step.

Welcome Spring by creating the perfect outdoor porch retreat. A modest amount of furnishings and a large curtain tied back to frame the porch keeps this retreat light and bright without losing its connection to the backyard.

This color is sure to have you looking forward to spring and perfectly fitting February Color Choice as we celebrate Valentine's Day this month with our homes already decorated in red, pink and white. Will you give this color a try in your home?
