Prior to the debut of Sure Fit, most furniture covers were expensive, made-to-order vinyl protectors created by furniture tailors. These plastic covers left much to be desired in terms of fashion, function, and cost leading Sure Fit to introduce the “ready-made” slipcover category as we know it today.
